If the temperature control is set to warm, reset the control to the colder side and allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilise.
Frequent opening and closing of doors cause an influx of warm air. Open the door less often.
If there are containers blocking closure, then the door will remain open leading to heat loss.
If you have recently stored warm or hot food, wait for the refrigerator or freezer to reach its selected temperature.
On disconnecting and reconnecting the refrigerator, allow a 24-hour time gap for complete cooldown.
If the internal lights remain on, check whether the door is closed properly.
