The compressor of the air conditioner has a powerful motor. During starting and shutting down, the whole air conditioner can vibrate/shake, sometimes noisily. This is normal.
However, it could be possible that the compressor mounting bushes are worn out and need replacement.
Ensure that the air conditioner is mounted securely in the window frame to avoid shaking or vibration.
