If your air conditioner does not start, here’s what you should do:
- Check whether the power fed to the air conditioner is in the 220 V - 240 V range.
- If there is no power, check the fuses or circuit breakers.
- In case the problem persists, check with a qualified electrician to restore power to the outlet.
In case the air conditioner has power but is yet not starting, check the house and appliance wiring for any broken or burnt bits. Also check the thermostat, compressor, overload and/or relay switch, selector switch and electronic controller.
